Our Privacy Policy
The Logistics Institute gathers personal information in a few different ways.
If you select the ‘Free Information Package’ option (homepage) you can enter your name and address information in order to receive information.
All current members have an individual record in our database with information (name, address, Email) which we use to stay in contact. We do not share our member information with any other organization.
Current members can update their own information at anytime by selecting ‘Update Your Member Record’ on the new Gateway.
Professional Members
Professional members (those holding the P.Log. designation) are listed in the online Member Directory -- only accessible to Profession members. This access is controlled by username and password. The address used for this listing is the address provided in the work contact information area.
Profession Members, you can have your information left out of the directory. On the homepage, select the link called Update Your Member Record. Locate the option called “Exclude me from Online Directory” and remove the check mark with the box. To save your change, click the “submit” button.
Even if you opt-out, your name and suffix (P.Log.) will still appear, but no other information. You can reverse your decision anytime, by updating your member record.
